Terms of Use
These terms are an agreement between you and Aventurine Consulting LLC, 1125 Maxwell Ln, Hoboken, NJ 07030 ("Next Weekend", "we", "us") for the Next Weekend app, its invitation web pages and related services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.
1. Who can use Next Weekend
You must be at least 13 years old (or the higher minimum age where you live). You sign in with your mobile phone number and a one-time code. Keep that code to yourself, give us accurate information, and let us know if you think someone else has used your account.
2. What the Service does
Next Weekend suggests places, events and activities for your weekend, lets you build a plan from them, invite friends and talk about the plan in a group chat. The suggestions come from third-party sources (map, place, event, weather and entertainment providers). We do our best to keep them useful, but we do not run those venues or events: opening hours, prices, availability and details can change without notice. Please confirm important details before you go, and use your own judgement about where you go and who you go with.
3. Free plans and Premium
The free version includes one plan per week for the coming weekend. Next Weekend Premium removes that limit: unlimited plans on any date. Premium is an auto-renewing subscription sold through Apple, monthly or yearly; the current price in your local currency is shown in the app before you buy.
- Billing. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Apple handles billing, receipts and payment methods; we never see your card details.
- Auto-renewal. The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period at the then-current price unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the period ends. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Free trial. New subscribers may be offered a free trial (for example, 7 days). Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the paid subscription starts automatically. One trial per Apple ID; any unused part of a free trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription.
- Managing and cancelling. You can switch between monthly and yearly, or cancel, at any time in iOS Settings → your Apple ID → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep Premium until the end of the period you have paid for. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
- Refunds. Purchases are made through Apple and refunds are subject to Apple's policies; request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Restoring. If you reinstall the app or change phones, use Restore purchases in the app to bring back an active subscription.
- Price changes. If a price changes, Apple will tell you in advance and, where required, ask for your consent before the new price applies.
4. Invitations, messages and your content
Invitations are sent as text messages from your own device, so you decide who receives them; only invite people who will welcome them. Anyone who opens an invitation link can see the plan you shared. Plans, stops, messages, names and reactions you add are your content: you own it, and you give us permission to store and show it within the Service to the people you plan with, which is how the Service works. Do not post anything unlawful, harassing, hateful, misleading or that you do not have the right to share. We may remove content or restrict accounts that break these rules.
We have zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. In any plan's group chat you can Report a message or a person, and Block someone so you no longer see their messages or get notified about them — press and hold a message, or tap ⋯ in the chat header. We review reports within 24 hours, remove content that breaks these Terms, and suspend or close the accounts responsible. You can also reach us at support@goaventurine.com.
5. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the Service: no automated scraping, no attempts to access other people's accounts or data, no interfering with our systems or security, no using the Service for anything illegal, and no reselling it. Contacts, location and calendar access are optional and controlled in your device settings; the Service works without them.
6. Third-party services
Parts of the Service rely on third-party providers (for example Google, Apple, SerpApi, Ticketmaster, OpenWeather and TMDB). Their content and availability are outside our control, and their own terms may apply when you leave the app to visit them. Links to venues, ticket sellers and streaming services are provided for your convenience; any purchase you make there is between you and that provider.
7. Our property
The app, its design, name, logo and software belong to Aventurine Consulting LLC and are protected by copyright and trademark law. We grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, under these terms and Apple's App Store rules.
8. Ending things
You can stop using the Service at any time and delete your account in the app (Profile → Delete account); see the Privacy Policy for what that removes. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms or put other users at risk. An active subscription is managed through Apple as described above.
9. Disclaimers and limits
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that suggestions will suit you. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
10. Apple
These terms are between you and Aventurine Consulting LLC, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app. If the app fails to meet a warranty, you may tell Apple and Apple may refund the purchase price; beyond that, Apple has no warranty obligation. We, not Apple, are responsible for the app, for any product-liability, consumer-protection or intellectual-property claims about it, and for addressing your claims about it. You confirm you are not in a country under a U.S. government embargo and not on any U.S. government list of prohibited parties. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
11. Changes and law
We may update these terms; the effective date above will change and material changes will be announced in the app. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept it. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and any dispute will be brought in the courts located in New Jersey unless the law where you live requires otherwise.
